By learning origami …learn how to handle the material like sheets,cardboard,mount board, plastics,aluminum sheet etc etc…
Learn how to use material optimally by studying the Folding treatments of origami….
Again ….I suggest not to focus to be skillful in origami but try to learn the science behind it try to learn the idea behind it…relate it …n B creative…. that’s what a CREATOR (designer) does…. otherwise you will be a craft man…

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Students coming from a number of different academic backgrounds, including first degree courses in photography and wide variety of other fields including: (BFA/B.Arch/B.Des/B.Litt/Graduation in Commn. Media, Film and TV, Mass Media/or Equivalent/ or Graduates in any discipline with one year relevant industry experience/ creative pursuits).
The screening will be based on the assessment of portfolio consisting of photographs or creative expressions demonstrating their conceptual and technical skills. Once shortlisted the students will be called for personal interview.
Selected candidates are expected to have basic equipments such as digital SLR/Analog SLR, required for their work. Specialist equipment and other facilities will be provided by the institute for the course.
FEE for the non- residential course: Rs 2.5 lacs
Overseas travel/stay is entirely optional and will be extra estimated at Rs 25000/- (for to and fro travel to UK)

design)
1> knowledge of different materials n its properties.
2> perspective drawing (mostly 2 point and 3 point) , right
dimentions,right angles n right compositions.
3> proportions of objects n human figure.
4> When specifications are not given you can go wild creative but
feasible solution.
5> know how to shade different materials.
6> Experiments with different house hold objects find its different
uses rather than it’s general uses. vary the size ,deform it, change
material,melt it ,fordge it etc etc
7> know safety rules and reflect it in your solutions
8> Know the latest technology for/of
(material,production,transportation,transmission of power ,tele
communication,automation,environment friendly approaches) also get the knowledge different mnf processes.
9> observe multipurpose devices n objects.
10> above mention all 9 should be reflected in your answer in
different creative combinations.
